Hello,
I have not written in a while as i now have a new house, and new broadband. It's holding steady at 7.6mb woohoo!! \o/
It's been quite quiet, BC V is 8d away from finishing and i have decided to take the time out to do a little 'administration' and finally decide what i want to do with my eve career. I've had a chat with several people regarding this and have yet to make a decisio. Part of me wants to get involved again with deep 0.0 operations. But a part of me also wants to get back to basics tough luck style! My associate, Christoffski (read: alt) has been getting quite a reputation as a efficient killer back in heimatar and the metropolis area. I jump cloned down for a good beer back in eustyr to swap stories. Turns out he's been quite busy down there, and is turning quite a profit. He originally planned to place a large POS up in evati to mine moon minerals. But due to unforseen circumstances was unavailable for two weeks. He subsequently lost a few high priced POS modules and a hauler. He then started to explore the low sec area a little in an ishkur assault ship named 'Mr J.' He scored a few kills including a cov-ops, and nabbed the cloak. He also had a nice duel with a wolf class assault ship. Usually the wolf would have the edge dmg wise. But chris managed to keep his cool and range. He lost a few drones but the ishkur had plenty of spares. He dabbled with a few others but ultimately he met his demise undocking from a station into a large camp of a anti pie battleships. He lost the ishkur. He then madea silly mistake and upset the local minmatar naval commander who saw fit to remove his ship from his posesion by force. (read high sec with a low sec status).
Then with a change of fortune he heard news over his local pirate intel that a hurricane and rupture were ratting a few jumps away and a fellow pilot required assistance. He jumped at the chance and set off. The pilots were semi smart warping to celestial beacons at range, but slow piloting and inexperiance caused them to lose position. They got a point on the hurricane. His friend 60km warped away, at first apparently runniing in fear. During the fight the mighty hurrican provided a formiddable tank. Nearly overwhelming his fellow rupture. At this point the hurricane's friend had warped back in at range and egun to hurl salvo's of t2 artillery, he unfortunately got within t2 warp disruptor range. Chris got the point on him. The cane went down and was closely follwed by the rupture. The loot provided a good haul. Whilst they waited in the belt a small scout squadron from the local angel pirate organisation was flying by with a young Domination officer at the helm. They met their demise and the domination pilot happened to be carrying plans for a modified version of the small minmatar POS tower. They secured its transport to a local station where it awaits a new buyer.
Oh how I miss the homeland!!!

Alt+Tab a thing of the past!
[Out of Game]
Hello,
Still no broadband, but that does not stop me from expanding my set up in other ways. At christmas my arents bought me an upgrade, it was pretty much a totally new PC tbh, what a beast! Core 2 Duo E6550, 4Gb PC-6400 RAM, DS3 Gigabyte mobo and the HD3870 512mb GDDR4 as the family Jewels! This thing purrs like a kitten, runs Crysis at high playable, a few slow downs, but for £150 thats not to shabby!
Anyway i have a few accounts and sometimes dual boxing is needed when no friends are online. This can be troublesome with one PC as the eve client is not perfect, memory leaks, slow downs and more are not uncommon! And then there's the black screen and a DC when you least expect it! Or as is common accross the player base, a DC occurs when you least want it! I have decided to remedy this situation, my old PC only needs a hard drive and DVD drive to work. It is more than capable of running the eve classic client.
Befiore you ask, no i do not have space for 2 sets of monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. What i do have is (well I'm going to buy) is a KVM switch that allows one set of monitor, keyboard etc. to run two PC's!! Check it out here

I just need to find a cheap Hdd and DVD drive, I will install eve classic on it aswell. I will also install and run ventrillo on both so when i switch PC's i can continue to voip!!
Space will get a little more dangerous!

Broadband woe's
I have moved house and like any other UK resident I now have to endure the compulsory 10 working day wait untill i can have my new broadband! I have been enrolled in the Battlecruiser level V course and am hard at work. All my ships are currently undergoing a much needed tune up. As you may of guessed i have decided to go the command ship route. My first stop will be the mighty sleipnir. I refuse to fly this beast without at minimum t2 gear, and all the skills that go with it. I'm halfway through it, but it will be early may before it leaves dry dock. I plan to go a semi nano set up with agility rigs. These little rigs are very under rated in my opinion. They are cheap (around 6m each) and give tidy benefits for little drawbacks.
My first fit will be:
Highs:
7x 220 II with barrage, hail and republic fleet EMP
1x Med NOS or missile launcher or remote rep. whatever is needed Possibly even a command link.
Mids:
1x 10MN MWD II
1x DG Large Shield Booster
2x Invul II
1x Med cap Booster II
Lows:
2x Gyro II
1x DCU II
2x OD II
Rigs:
2x agility rigs
This will be a sound investment of ISK for a rather nice all rounded gang ship, it's fast and will be able to dish out a good amount of pain! Booya!!
I have decided to move back to heimatar/metropolis from caldari land! I'm coming home!!!

It's all so quiet...
What can i say, eve for me has been dead, but wether thats a good thing or a bad thing i dunno. Catch-22 is not doing as well as i thought it would but its not to bad, i hadn't invested all too much assets into the project. I'd just begun re-focusing my efforts when i suffered a Real Life (RL) emergency. My new little girl has had a very nasty stomach condition and has undergone a four hour session of surgery. The end result was a much more lively little girl 50cm of small intestine lighter, but lively none the less.
To eve!
Anyways my skill plan towards recons is progressing smoothly, i am very close to the end of cov-ops IV, with the recon skill ready to go. Next will be cloaking IV so that i may use a cov-ops cloak II. Then my lovely little rapier will be launched. Next on the list is the decision to go for command ships, (sleipnir and claymore) or make the move for minmatar BS V and large Projectile V. Decisions...decisions.
My little group of merry men is slightly distracted [RL stuff FTL :( ] and for the most part we have just been keeping our skills ticking over. So plenty of t2 goodies will be available for use! I have dabbled with the idea of running a POS network in the moon mining industry, big profits are to be had, but alas the RL stuff.
Anyway lets not lose faith we must keep moving forward! Chaarggge!!!!
